The Service de police de la Ville de Montréal is constantly seeking applicants who would like to work as on-call school crossing guards for neighbourhood police stations.
To give you a clear idea of the work a school crossing guard must perform, we strongly recommend that you consult the “School Crossing Guard Manual” produced by the Société de l’assurance automobile du Québec, available online at the following link: SAAQ.
Mornings from 7:30 to 8:30 a.m.
Middays from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Afternoons from 3 to 4 p.m.
IMPORTANT | This means that you must be available for these three periods every day, Monday to Friday. There is no possibility of adjusting this schedule. If you have commitments such as studies or another job that conflict with the school crossing guard schedule, your application will not be considered. Are you available to work these three periods, Monday to Friday?
